The Baby King Kamfa Flowerhorn at Our Shop

So Now coming back to the main thing, In between all these things and work, Really, Something Exciting happened.And I loved it and Now I want to share it with you.So here it is-

I have Just bought a four-month-old King Kamfa flowerhorn a week ago for Our Pet shop in Jaipur. As per the basic nature of flower horn cichlids, he is aggressive. He tries to bite finger and hand whenever he gets an opportunity. Presently he doesn’t have teeth like eruptions on lips, but he tries to ram my hand, finger and my rings. He especially has a following for my opal ring. He just can’t resist biting my ring. He is cute, beautiful and intelligent. He is learning fast. The video that I have presented here is after trying to socialize him for one week. He is accepting me inside the aquarium and reaching for my hand. He has also started having food directly from my hand but he is a bit unrefined in eating. He tries to eat his pellets but many times he accidentally bites my fingers also. I hope you enjoy this video as much as I have enjoyed making it.

You might think of me as a crazy person who is trying to talk to a fish. I know that doesn’t make sense but I love it. This makes me happy so for the sake of my HAPPINESS I do it every day with my dogs, my fishes, my birds and all other pets.

The conversation here is in my mother tongue Hindi. I am writing down the conversation that took place. I hope you will find this amusing.

• Me, “come”.
• He swims fast to bite me.
• “Oh! Don’t bite. No, don’t bite”.
• He swims away.
• “Look here. Look. Look here”.
• He comes fast and again tries to bite.
• “No mischief boy. Not again. Okay, okay, here here. Easily. Lovely. Lovely. Very good.”
• He slightly rubs his body on my palm than in a few seconds he again turns back and tries to bite.
• “Don’t be mischievous. No, no biting. Look here, come back.”
• He comes, but he comes fast and tries to bite. Again.
• “Biting again. You will get a beating boy. You are not listening”.
• He leaps out of the water to bite again.
• “You will get a big beating boy. I promise a really big one. Do you understand? Come, come. You’ll be loved. Come”.
• He again comes back.
• “No, no biting. Don’t bite. You are a small fish, just four months old, why are you so much aggressive? Why don’t you calm a bit? oh, again, with so much force! Okay, okay, come here”.
• He then lets me touch him for a few seconds.
• I start to move my hand in a circular motion inside the aquarium. He moves with my hand and keeps the contact also.
• “Good boy. Lovely”.
• I start to revolve my figure forming little circles. He sticks to my figure and revolves along.
• “Good boy. Yeah, that is it. That’s what I am talking about. Good boy. Come into my palm as you used to. Very good. Very good”.
• He then rests in my palm and I have to stop the video to give him his treat as a reward.

I loved it.King Kamfa Flowerhorn is an amazing and energetic fish. I will post more videos giving the complete account of his growth and development. I wish and I hope you like it.
