Thanks for a great response to the flowerhorn series videos and articles. I am so much astonished by your support. Continuing my work I am now bringing you a new series of a new fish.The most commonly seen member of the Arowana family, “ The Silver Arowana”.

Let us now talk about the fish in the video.
Feng shui fish or Silver Arowana: at our Pet Store in Jaipur
This is a Silver Arowana. I am unable to identify the sex at this stage right now because this specimen is just 5 inches long and maybe around just 3 months of age. Later at some stage when it would be around a foot long then maybe I would try to get you some concrete confirmation in this matter.
Looking at it I am hopeful that he will grow fast. Faster than other Silver Arowana specimen that I have owned.
For now, I have kept it in a 3*1.25*1.25 cubic feet aquarium that holds around 125 liters of water. This quantity may be debatable but I think that a comparatively larger amount of volume will help him with accelerated growth. I am hoping to see him as large as two feet long by next year in the same month.
In the midway, I would be changing its aquarium when it will cross a body length of around 1.5 feet. At that time I will build a 5 feet long at least 3 feet wide and 3 feet high aquarium holding more than 500 liters of water.
Just imagine how mesmerizing it would be to see a 3 feet long silver Arowana, shaped like a dragger, floating around in a densely planted aquarium. I am looking forward to it. I might not sell it. It will be the attraction point of the aquarium fish section of my pet shop.

Feeding and care of New Silver Arowana
As for its health and appetite, it is doing good. I am feeding it high protein carnivore long cylindrical pallet food. Daily consumption is around 30 pallets distributed across the day in three diets of 10 pallets each. So, according to my observation and experience it I consuming quite a good amount of food that will definitely give it an edge over any other Silver Arowana housed in comparatively small 70-80 liters aquarium.
Just take a look at its appearance. In the video, you can see that it is having an elongated triangle shape. This will change in a couple of months though. The fins are predominantly translucent and you would have to look closely with a keen eye to properly see the structure. There is a slight red hue all over the edges of its fins which I presume to darken as it will grow. Arowanas are really fun to see growing and I am super excited to have this one.
